present Treasure Hunt A hidden treasure lies at the end of a riddle that members of the Fun Factory must solve to save their Fun Factory from being shut down for good. “Through the forest, who can see the trees, Your best bet is the glowing bees!” They huddle in the arctic and jest in the desert seeking Gold and diamonds and pearls, Rubies, emeralds and jewels! Vermillion Community Theatre and the Children’s Theatre Company of South Dakota invite everyone to an special time of fun and entertainment when local young talent present Treasure Hunt Friday, June 6 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, June 7 at 2 p.m., at the Vermillion High School Performing Arts Theatre. The performance is the culmination of a unique learning experience for 50 local children. This special weeklong event gives children a chance to learn what it’s like to take part in a professionally produced stage musical, from auditions and rehearsals through the final performance. Make plans to attend and take part in the fun! Tickets are available for $5.00 K-Adult at the door. There is no charge for kids under 5. This residency is made possible by the Vermillion Community Theatre with support provided with funds from the state of South Dakota, through the Department of Education and Cultural Affairs, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
