Rain in Vermillion on Saturday, June 26, did damper the South Dakota Special Olympics Summer Games slightly, cutting down the number of events athletes could compete in. Despite the weather, local Special Olympics South Dakota athletes had a great time coming together for some healthy competition once again, say organizers. The event was held at the USD Lillibridge Track complex on the campus of the University of South Dakota in Vermillion.
