Vermillion High School To Present Amadeus

Vermillion High School students will be presenting Amadeus by Peter Shaffer on Friday, Jan. 24 at the Thomas H. Craig Center for Performing Arts. This short play, set in the late 1700s, explores the demise of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart as seen through the eyes of Antonio Salieri, a well-establish composer at the time. The production will be performed at 7:30 p.m. on the Vermillion High School stage. It is free and open to the public. After Friday’s performance, the cast and crew will take the show on the road to the Region IA, South Dakota High School Activities Association’s One-Act Play Contest held at Dakota Valley High school on Tuesday, Jan. 28. Vermillion High School will perform at 1:15 p.m. Pictured in front are Abby Amundson, Jack Fuller and Suki Ford. In the second row are Bethany Bentz and Anna Olson.
