First Baby Of 2021

VERMILLION, S.D. – Sanford Vermillion Medical Center has welcomed its first baby of 2021.

Lennyn was born on at 1:11 a.m. Jan. 3 to Andy and Kelsey Peterson of Vermillion. Lennyn, who was delivered by Anastasia Searcy, M.D., weighed 9 pounds, 2 ounces at birth and measured 20 inches long.

Proud parents, Andy and Kelsey, and sibling Brody were very excited to learn that Lennyn was the first baby of the New Year born at Sanford Vermillion.

Lennyn and her family were presented with a welcome bag from Sanford Vermillion, as well as a wide variety of wonderful first baby of the year gifts donated by many Vermillion businesses including the following: CorTrust Bank, Exhale Wellness Spa, First Dakota National Bank, Hy-Vee, Jimmy John’s, Latte Da, MASABA, Mazing Acres Pumpkin Patch, Pizza Ranch, PrintSource, The Spa at Wynie Mae’s, Thread & Ink, Triumph Chiropractic, USD Charlies Store, USD Foundation, Vermillion Public Library, and Willson Florist.
