SUNDAY, OCT. 4

1:38 a.m. - Officers investigated a report of a disturbance at a residence. No arrests were made.

2:08 a.m. - Officers responded to a fight that occurred in front of a bar on Main Street. Officers encountered a male who was unconscious and laying on the ground. While rendering medical aid to this person, two other fights occurred in front of the same bar.

5:05 a.m. - While conducting patrol related duties Vermillion Officers located an identification card in the downtown district of Vermillion. Officers discovered the identification card to be false. Charges are pending.

6:07 a.m. - Officers investigated a report of a domestic assault that occurred at a residence. Officers conducted an investigation and one adult male was arrested for simple assault.

12:00 p.m. - Officers responded to a 911 call for medical assistance. Officers provided assistance until EMS arrived on scene and began caring for the patient.

8:18 p.m. - Officers received information of a run-away juvenile. Officers located the juvenile and returned them home.

11:14 p.m. - Officers were called to investigate a possible sex crime. Under investigation.

MONDAY, OCT. 5

10:30 a.m. - Officers investigated a report of damage to private property at a residence. There is no suspect information at this time.

11:05 a.m. - Officers investigated a report of a theft of political signs from the front yard of a residence. No suspect information at this time.

2:29 p.m. - Officers responded to a local business parking lot for a reported hit and run. Investigation found the damage to have occurred somewhere other than initially reported. Case is under investigation.

9:31 p.m. - Officers investigated suspected drug activity at a city owned park. One adult female was arrested for numerous drug charges.

TUESDAY, OCT. 6

5:07 a.m. - Officers investigated a report of a possible assault at a residence. No arrests were made.

5:44 a.m. - Detectives responded to a report of fraud at a local business. Investigation continues.

10:57 a.m. - Officers responded to a two vehicle non-injury accident in the parking lot of a local business. Officer investigation found one of the driver's to be intoxicated. The intoxicated driver was arrested and charges are pending.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 7

1:28 p.m. - Officers responded to a reported dispute between persons. Officers investigation found the issue to be a civil matter.

5:12 p.m. - Officers responded to a report of ongoing harassment. Case is under investigation.

10:17 p.m. - Officers responded to a report of a dispute between persons. Officers investigation found the dispute to be a parent/child issue.

10:42 p.m. - A juvenile reported a strange male attempting to lure him across the street to a car he was in. Investigation continues.

THURSDAY, OCT. 8

8:36 a.m. - An officer initiated a traffic stop involving a vehicle passing another vehicle in a no passing zone. The driver was cited and released.

2:37 p.m. - Officers responded to a reported dispute between a husband and wife. Officer mediated the dispute and found no criminal activity.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9

3:21 p.m. -Officers responded to a domestic incident. Officers found one of the involved parties had assaulted their significant other causing minor injuries. The subject was arrested and taken into custody.

SATURDAY, OCT. 10

12:10 a.m. - Officers responded to a reported noise complaint. Officers could not detect or locate any noise. Officers cleared the scene.

1:23 a.m. -An officer discovered a male subject urinating in a public place in the downtown district of Vermillion. The subject was identified, cited and released.

10:36 p.m. - The 911 center received a call of a car striking a sign leaving a private parking lot. Officers located and stopped the vehicle. Officers investigation found the driver to be intoxicated. The driver was arrested and taken into custody. Charges are pending.
