Due to public health concerns, stemming from the Coronavirus (COVID-19), effective April 6, much of the City Recycling Program will be suspended until further notice. This interruption in service is precautionary out of consideration for the safety and health of city residents and staff.

During this time, residents should consider all refuse non-recyclable. DO NOT save recyclable materials until the end of the suspension. The recycling program is not designed for such increased capacity.

The suspension includes curbside recycling, satellite drop-off trailers, and drop-off at Missouri Recycling Center.

The Monday Commercial Cardboard Route will continue uninterrupted.

The Missouri Valley Recycling Center will be closed to the public effective April 3 at 4:30 p.m.

All yard waste and branches will be accepted at the Vermillion Landfill during this time.

The city thanks residents for participating in the Vermillion Recycles Program; and states that it looks forward to serving local residents again soon.
