New Board Members

The South Dakota Shakespeare Festival (SDSF) is pleased to announce the following new members to its board of directors. In front are Alexis Oskolkoff and Christina Wells. In back are Joe Stollenwerk, John Howe, Carol Geu, Danielle Heeren and Katy Beem.

The South Dakota Shakespeare Festival (SDSF) will stage a production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” June 6-9, 2019, In Prentis Park in Vermillion.

Madeline Sayet (Mohegan Tribe), acclaimed Shakespeare director, will direct 2019’s engaging production that mindfully and intentionally integrates Native artists and perspectives into the process.

Month-long outreach and programming include an apprenticeship program with students and staff from Flandreau Indian School and partnerships with SESDAC, Sanford Senior Care Center, USD’s Upward Bound and the Minnehaha Juvenile Detention Center.
