Two Vermillion men, Geoffrey Gray-Lobe, a Democrat, and David Thiesse, a Republican, will fill two upcoming vacancies on the Clay County Commission in January and will have their hands full taking part in the construction of a new, $42.8 million jail and law enforcement center.

Gray-Lobe and Thiesse are the top two vote-getters in a tight four-person race for the two seats on the Clay County Commission.
