The VCDC's COVID-19 daily update for Chamber Members will now move to a twice weekly update every Tuesday and Thursday morning.

Census 2020

Family Movie Night Popcorn

The Vermillion Cultural Association will open their doors from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday and Saturday nights. Grab some carry out popcorn to enjoy at home while watching a movie with your family. Small - $5. Medium - $6. Large - $7. Jumbo $15. *Subject to change.


Missouri Valley Recycling Center to Reopen Monday, May 11th

The Missouri Valley Recycling Center will reopen on Monday, May 11th for drop-off recycling only. The remainder of the Vermillion Recycles Program will continue to be suspended until further notice.

The suspension includes:

• Curbside Recycling (During this time, residents should consider all refuse non-recyclable. DO NOT save recyclable materials until the end of the suspension. The recycling program is not designed for such increased capacity.)

• Satellite Drop-off Trailers

In addition to the Recycling Center, two drop-off locations will remain available for yard waste.

• Barstow Park – Dartmouth Street (Near the ice rink/skate park)

• Prentis Park – Prentis Avenue (Near the baseball diamond)



The Monday Commercial Cardboard Route will continue uninterrupted.

Hours of Operation:

Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm

Saturday – Sunday – CLOSED


Hike/Bike Path Closed Near Dakota Street Bridge

Due to water main repairs under the Vermillion River, the hike/bike path will be closed from the fishing pier to Cotton Park until further notice.

City Council

City Hall is currently closed to the public. Residents that need assistance are encouraged to call at 605.677.7050. You can also watch live or review the most recent City Council meetings.
