SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 2
12:13 a.m. - An officer attempted to contact a man who was drinking an alcoholic beverage while walking down an alley. The man fled on foot. The man was located and arrested. He was underage and intoxicated. The man also had a fictitious license on his person. He was charged with multiple offenses.
2:57 a.m. - Officers responded to a car accident. A juvenile driver was found to have been drinking and was taken into custody.
MONDAY, FEBRUARY 3
8:25 a.m. - An officer stopped a vehicle for doing 30 mph in a 15 mph speed zone. The driver was cited.
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 4
2:50 p.m. - Officers assisted a Court Services Office with attempting to locate a parole violator. The man was not found.
7:44 p.m. - Caller reported a past tense theft of alcohol from a local business caught on camera. Under investigation.
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 5
11:57 p.m. - While doing alcohol compliance checks at bars, officers found five minors who were drinking underage. Two of them were arrested for possessing a fake id card.
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 6
1:04 p.m. - An officer spoke to an intoxicated man who reported he was assaulted by his former girlfriend. Investigation revealed that the intoxicated man had assaulted the former girlfriend who had fought back. The man was arrested for domestic assault. He had previously been convicted of two other domestic assaults, which elevated the new assault to a felony.
3:53 p.m. - Officers responded to a two vehicle non-injury accident. One driver had back into a parked car.
4:59 p.m. - Caller reported a possible violation of a protection order. Investigation showed the order had not been violated.
10:18 p.m. - Caller requested officers check the welfare of her adult son who she was not able to reach. She was concerned as he has medical issues. Officers located the son who was alright.
10:46 p.m. - An officer responded to a one-vehicle accident in the County as the closest deputy was across the county. The driver was alright.
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 7
8:45 a.m. - Caller reported a vehicle being driven erratically. Officers located the vehicle and stopped it after it failed to stop at a stop sign. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt. The driver was cited.
8:09 p.m. - Officers responded to a medical call where an older patient has lost consciousness. Officers provided care until the ambulance arrived and the patient was transported to the hospital.
10:30 p.m. - An officer responded to a two vehicle non-injury accident. One vehicle had run into another at a stop light. The driver of the rear vehicle was found to be intoxicated and underage. He was arrested for DWI, Underage consumption, and Careless Driving.
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 8
12:33 p.m. - Officers were told a man who had a warrant for his arrest was at a local business. An officer contacted the man who had a warrant for his arrest out of Clay County. The man was arrested.
3:29 p.m. - Caller reported his wife's credit card had been used at a local business without her knowledge. Under investigation.
6:53 p.m. - Officers responded to a report of a drunken man yelling at a man on the sidewalk. Officers contacted the intoxicated man who was yelling about a pizza order mix up and his feeling that his slice of pizza was smaller than it should have been. No physical contact had occurred and the officer suggested the intoxicated man return home for the night.
7:19 p.m. - Officers contacted a man who was causing a disturbance at a local convenience store. The man refused to leave and stop this activity. The officers tried to cite him for disorderly conduct and he refused to sign the citation. He was arrested.
10:19 p.m. - Caller reported several young children walking on the roadside dressed inappropriately for the weather. Officers searched the area and spoke with several people, but were not able to locate the children.
