SUNDAY, JAN. 6
1:59 a.m. - Caller reported several people on the rooftops of buildings in the downtown area. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the suspects.
3:35 a.m. - Officers were called to a residence for a report of a break-in. Officers found a male in the apartment who did not live there and had forced his way in. The male was arrested.
1:45 p.m. - Officers were called to a business for a woman who tried to cash a check not in her name. One arrest was made and other charges are pending.
11:40 p.m. - Officers stopped a car for not stopping at a flashing red light. The driver was found to have a suspended license and was cited for both offenses.
MONDAY, JAN. 7
6:07 p.m. - While investigating a shoplifting, officers arrested a woman and man on multiple charges involving theft and methamphetamine possession. Under investigation.
TUESDAY, JAN. 8
1:23 a.m. - An officer was conducting parking enforcement. A vehicle had several outstanding parking tickets and was impounded.
10:53 a.m. - Caller reported a patient suffering from a diabetic complication. Officers provided care until the ambulance took over.
5:41 p.m. - Officers are investigating a report of a sex crime.
10:19 p.m. - A local business reported receiving counterfeit money. Under investigation.
WEDNESDAY, JAN. 9
6:19 a.m. - Caller smelled natural gas near their home. A search of the area resulted in the discovery of a meter that needed to be fixed.
11:37 a.m. - An officer stopped a car for erratic driving. The driver was intoxicated on prescription drugs. The driver was also revoked. The driver was arrested.
5:17 p.m. - An officer stopped a vehicle for speeding, 38 mph in a 25 mph zone. The driver was cited.
THURSDAY, JAN. 10
1:22 a.m. - An officer stopped a vehicle for speeding. There were several passengers in the vehicle that had been drinking alcohol. Two of them were under 21 and were cited for underage consumption.
1:24 a.m. - Caller reported a dispute between persons that occurred at local bar. No one was hurt, no crime reported and neither party wished to pursue any additional action.
8:56 p.m. - An officer trained as a Drug Recognition Expert responded to assist a South Dakota State Trooper with a DUI arrest. The arrested party was suspected of being under the influence of marijuana.
FRIDAY, JAN. 11
6:21 a.m. - An officer stopped a vehicle for expired registration and erratic lane travel. The driver did not have vehicle insurance. The driver was cited.
10:11 p.m. - Officers stopped a car for speeding. They noted the driver was not wearing his seatbelt and cited him for it.
11:23 p.m. - Officers stopped a car for having an out headlight. The driver was found to be an unlicensed driver and was cited.
11:42 p.m. - Officers were called to a house for a domestic dispute. One woman was arrested and charged with simple assault.
SATURDAY, JAN. 12
1:36 a.m. - Officers stopped a car for running a stop sign. The driver was believed to be intoxicated and was arrested for DUI.
1:27 p.m. - Officers responded to an unattended death. Under investigation. No foul play is suspected at this time.
