12:40 a.m. - Officers investigated a vehicle at a city owned park in the early morning hours. The City Parks are closed at night. The vehicle was unoccupied and no one could be located in the park.
12:46 a.m. - Officers located a male who was in violation of his probation conditions while in a local bar. The male was arrested.
2:03 a.m. - Officers located a male who had an active arrest warrant for possessing a fake id. The male was arrested for the warrant as well as charged with possessing another fake ID at the time of the arrest. The male was also charged with underage drinking and possession of a vape device while underage.
Monday, November 22
12:12 a.m. - Officers responded to a report of a noise complaint involving a vehicle and loud music. Officers located the vehicle and could not substantiate the complainant. The occupants were advised of the complaint.
12:44 a.m. - An officer stopped a vehicle for driving at night without headlights on. The officer found the driver to be unlicensed. The driver was issued a citation and the vehicle was released to a licensed driver.
2:09 a.m. - Officers responded to a report of a protection order violation. Officers investigation found the the incident to be a case of mistaken identity. No criminal activity was discovered.
3:26 a.m. - Officers responded to a 911 call of a dispute between neighbors. Officers investigation found a verbal altercation between neighbors occurred. Officers found no crimes had been committed and mediated the situation between neighbors.
7:50 a.m. - An officer stopped a vehicle for passing a bus with the bus' red lights and stop sign activated. The driver told the officer they didn't know they needed to stop for the bus when it's lights and sign were activated. The driver was cited and released. Charges are pending.
10:11 a.m. - Officers conducted a check welfare at the request of a significant other. Officers found the subject of the check welfare to be in good order.
12:00 p.m. - An officer responded to a 911 call of a non-injury crash. Officers investigation found one driver was distracted and rear-ended another vehicle. The driver was issued a citation and their vehicle was towed as it was not drivable. Charges are pending.
6:40 p.m. - Caller reported that her former boyfriend had damaged her car. Officers completed the investigation and no arrests were made.
7:37 p.m. - Officers investigated a report of a theft from a residence. Caller reported several tools and parts missing from their property.
11:35 p.m. - Caller reported a violation of a protection order that was occurring at their residence. Officers determined that a violation occurred and charges are pending.
Tuesday, November 23
10:25 a.m. - Caller reported a sex crime. Under investigation.
12:27 p.m. - Officers responded to the Clay County Courthouse and took a subject into custody who had been sentenced to 30 days in jail.
11:45 p.m. - Officers responded to a report of screaming coming from a neighbor's apartment. Investigation resulted in a man being arrested for violation of court orders and simple assault (domestic).
Wednesday, November 24
6:52 a.m. - Officers responded to a noise complaint at an apartment complex. Officers made contact with the tenants and addressed the noise violation.
3:21 p.m. - Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated male sleeping in the entryway of a public building. Officers persuaded the man to leave without incident.
Thursday, November 25
8:43 p.m. - Another agency requested an officer contact a subject in Vermillion and deliver a death notification. The officer located the subject and delivered the message.
9:39 p.m. - Officers were called to a nursing facility for a subject who was refusing to leave. Officers spoke to the subject who appeared confused, possible suffering from a medical condition. Officers escorted the subject to the Emergency Room to receive treatment.
