12:47 a.m. - Officers investigated a report of a disturbance between several people on a public street. No arrests were made.

4:53 a.m. - Officers recovered a stolen vehicle from the Sioux Falls area that was found parked on city streets.

7:39 a.m. - Officers investigated a report of suspicious activity at a residence. No arrests were made.

9:01 p.m. - Officers arrested one adult male who had an active arrest warrant.

10:16 p.m. - Officers responded to a report of a person with a possible mental illness.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 28

2:52 a.m. - Officers investigated a report of a runaway juvenile. The juvenile was located and returned to home.

3:10 a.m. - Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person inside of a vehicle. No arrests were made.

9:42 a.m. - Officers took a report of the theft of more than $2000 worth of merchandise from a store. Investigation continues.

11:06 a.m. - Officers investigated a two vehicle, non injury vehicle collision.

9:58 p.m. - Officers responded to a car vs pedestrian accident. The driver was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 29

10:52 a.m. - Officers assisted a probation officer with locating a probationer.

11:19 a.m. - Officers were called to investigate a case of identity theft. The investigation continues.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 30

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 31

7:45 a.m. - An officer stopped a car for speeding in a school zone. The driver was cited for the offense.

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 1

12:00 a.m. - Officers were called to an accidental 911 call. The woman who made the call had been drinking and gave the officer a fake driver's license. The woman was arrested and charged with underage consumption and possession of a fake ID.

2:10 p.m. - Officers escorted a funeral precession to a local cemetery.

2:23 p.m. - Officers responded to a report of a dispute between two persons. No arrests were made.

3:42 p.m. - Officers responded to a non injury car accident.

5:33 p.m. - Officers investigated a report of juvenile delinquency.

5:41 p.m. - Officers investigated an animal complaint.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 2

1:41 p.m. - Officers responded to a report of a noise complaint.

2:31 p.m. - Officers assisted the Yankton Police Department in a search for a runaway juvenile, who was believed to be in Vermillion.

6:33 p.m. - Officers responded to a report of a CO2 alarm going off at a private residence.

10:31 p.m. - Officers were called to a residence to investigate suspicious activity. No arrests were made.
