Sunday, September 4
12:37 a.m. - Officers were called to a residence to address a noise complaint. The source of the noise was loud music coming from an apartment. Officers spoke with the subject in the home and resolved the complaint.
8:04 p.m. - Officers investigated a report of a violation of a court order at a residence. Officers searched for the subject at the residence and did not locate them and were unable to substantiate the report.
11:49 p.m. - Caller reported hearing someone moving around outside of their home during the night. Officers arrived and searched the area and did not locate anyone.
Monday, September 5
6:09 a.m. - Officers responded to a report of a disruptive person at a hotel. The person was trespassed from the property.
10:15 a.m. - Caller reported a motorcycle parked in a private parking lot of their apartment complex. The caller reported that they did not recognize the motorcycle as being normally parked there. Officers discovered that the motorcycle was the subject of a police pursuit the night before. The owner of the motorcycle was located and charges are pending.
12:46 p.m. - An officer was requested to do a welfare check on a subject in Vermillion after receiving information from another agency about the subject which indicated they could be in danger. The subject was fine.
Tuesday, September 6
8:12 a.m. - An officer responded to an accident without injuries and helped exchange information between the drivers.
2:14 p.m. - Officers responded to a bank hold up alarm. The alarm was a false alarm.
2:23 p.m. - Officers responded to a residence in response to a subject that was experiencing a mental health crisis. Officers located a subject that was armed with a handgun. After speaking to the subject and referring them to counseling, the person agreed to allow officers to take the pistol for temporary safe keeping.
Wednesday, September 7
9:05 p.m. - Officers responded to a report of a person outside of a business bothering customers. The person complied with a request to leave the property.
Thursday, September 8
1:49 a.m. - Officers responded to a residence for a report of suspicious activity. Officers did not locate any suspects and did not find any crimes had occurred.
3:07 a.m. - Officers responded to a 911 call of a dispute between persons. Officers investigation found the dispute to be civil with the property owner wanting the other party trespassed from their property. The subject was trespassed and left the scene. No charges or arrests were made. Alcohol was a factor.
11:53 a.m. - Detective responded to a report of a sex crime . The case is under investigation.
12:22 p.m. - Detective responded to a report of a sex crime. The case is under investigation.
4:34 p.m. - Officers responded to a local business to conduct a welfare check. Officers found the subject of the welfare check to be intoxicated. The officers found the subject a ride home and cleared the scene. Alcohol was a factor.
4:39 p.m. - Officers responded to a non-injury accident on Cherry St. One of the drivers involved was an unlicensed driver. The incident is under investigation. Charges are pending.
Friday, September 9
6:05 a.m. - Officers responded to a domestic dispute. Officers found the dispute to be civil in nature and officers did not observe any criminal activity. No charges were filed and no arrests were made.
10:56 a.m. - Officers responded to a city park for a report of suspicious activity. Officers located the persons involved and found no criminal activity afoot. Officers cleared the scene and returned to service.
Saturday, September 10
5:04 a.m. - Officers responded to a verbal disturbance in an alley. Officers located the subjects involved and verified no one was injured.
12:20 a.m. - Caller reported suspicious activity in their neighborhood. Three subjects in a vehicle were videotaping and photographing a residence. Officers were unable to locate or identify the vehicle.
