1:48 a.m. - An officer stopped two subjects for open container violations. One subject was found to be in possession of a false identification card and was arrested. The second subject received a citation for the alcohol violation. Charges are pending.

1:59 a.m. - Vermillion Officers responded to a domestic dispute. Officers investigation was unable to determine criminal activity. Officers advised the couple to separate for the evening. No arrests were made.

1:23 p.m. - Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity. The incident is under investigation.

4:16 p.m. - Officers responded to a report of damaged property. The incident is under investigation.

6:02 p.m. - Vermillion Officers responded to a check welfare request. Officers located the subject and spoke with them. The subject denied police resources and told officers friend's were helping them through a hard time.

11:07 p.m. - Officers responded to a check welfare request near a local business. Officers were advised a subject had left after a dispute and was poorly dressed for the current weather. Officers located the subject, found no criminal activity had occurred and returned them to the calling party's location. No charges filed. Alcohol was a factor.

Monday, December 20

10:18 a.m. - Vermillion Officers assisted Court Service Officers with a probation search. Officers located drug paraphernalia during the search and the subject on probation was taken into custody. Charges are pending.

11:00 a.m. - Officers received a traffic complaint of a school bus stop violation. The incident is under investigation.

1:51 p.m. - Officers responded to a theft from a local business. The suspect was identified, located and cited for the offense. At the request of the business the suspect was trespassed from the business. Charges are pending. Alcohol was a factor.

Tuesday, December 21

2:11 a.m. - Officers responded to a driving complaint. Officers located the vehicle and found the driver to be intoxicated. The driver was arrested for DWI. Charges are pending. Alcohol was a factor.

11:41 a.m. - Officers received information of suspicious activity at a local business. The case is under investigation and has been forwarded to detectives.

7:08 p.m. - Officers responded to a third party report of a domestic dispute. Officers spoke with all parties involved and found no crimes had been committed. Officers provided resources and mediated the dispute. No arrests were made and no charges are pending.

8:35 p.m. - Vermillion Officers responded to a vehicular hit and run with property damage and injury. Officers were able to locate the driver of the vehicle that fled the scene. The driver was found to be intoxicated and was arrested. The injured parties received medical treatment via EMS and ER. Multiple charges are pending. Alcohol was a factor.

12:19 p.m. - A detective assisted a deputy with identifying a juvenile who had several warrants for her arrest.

3:54 p.m. - Officers responded to a local business in response to an intoxicated male threatening to kill the on duty employees. Officers arrested the man for misdemeanor assault.

9:08 p.m. - An officer stopped a vehicle for failing to have rear lamps illuminated during night-time hours. Officers traffic investigation found the driver to be a suspended driver. The driver was cited for driving while suspended. The vehicle was released to a licensed driver. Charges are pending.

Saturday, December 25

8:53 a.m. - Caller requested additional patrols as they suspected someone might be messing with their property. Officers conducted extra patrols.
