She was baptized with her brothers in the James River on August 5, 1956, as a member of the Salem Mennonite Brethren Church. As a child in 1953, she was bedridden with Rheumatic Fever and completed her schoolwork from a hospital bed. She had a passion for caring for people and was known for her generosity. As a great cook and baker, she also hosted many family gatherings. Attending church and enjoying music were some of Juletta’s most treasured times. In addition, she was extremely proud of her children and grandchildren. She loved watching them participate in various activities. She treasured being a mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
