The Vermillion Youth Wrestling Group hosted its annual Vermillion Youth Wrestling Tournament on Sunday. Braxton Beach, Berkley Beach, Gavin Clodfelter, Korbin Neal, Evrett Hekrdle, Jax Solomon, and Myles Johnson each placed first. Owen Kashas, Colby Even, Keagan Brown, Addison Green, and Blair Merkwan each placed second. Ryder McPherson, Bennett Heine, Izaak Neal, Tristan Hekrdle, and Gage McPherson each placed third. Alek Hansen, Grant Merkwan, and Camryn Wunder each placed fourth. Atleigh Hansen placed fifth.
The youth wrestlers are back to practicing hard as they prepare for the SDWCA District 10 Tournament in Alcester on March 4.
