Vermillion girls’ tennis had their final dual before the state meet. The Tanagers hosted Madison last Thursday and fell 0-9 to the Bulldogs.
“It was our last match, and all of the girls displayed such amazing improvement from the beginning of the season,” said Vermillion head coach Kari Jensen. “They all work so hard, and all know the rules and scoring in tennis.”
Coach Jensen is proud of the team’s improvement, and they will have one more chance to showcase their improvement at state.
Vermillion will compete at the state meet this upcoming Monday and Tuesday in Sioux Falls.
